Bring Your Own Device, the new initiative at Penncrest School District and Saegertown High School has brought a new level of functionality to the completion of French projects at Saegertown.
In the past, students in Saegertown French classes were restricted by the availability of technology resources that were shared throughout the learning community. Now, with the advent of
BYOD nearly every student (and certainly every project group) has a high-quality video/point-and-shoot camera integrated in their iOS/Android and other devices.

Also, when computers are in short supply, our students are not slowed down, they may bring their own to fill the gap. Furthermore, though we have powerful graphic design, photo editing, and video production software integrated in the operating systems here at school, some of our students have even more powerful options at their disposal that can enhance their products with professional-grade effects.

Overall, the
Bring Your Own Device initiative has been a resounding success in our classroom. We look forward to exploring even more inventive ways of examining the French language through technology as our experience grows.
